My Story…

Nature Inspired Photography

My love of photography has been long and deep. My most treasured processions are my photo albums. Images of family, friends, trips and events. What started as a hobby has developed into a career as my life has progressed and changed.

I began my photography career as a “Horse Show Mom” taking photos of my daughter at horse shows. It calmed my nerves as my daughter and her horse rode fast and jumped high. It expanded to taking portrait photos of my second daughter and finally settled into floral, botanical, nature and shell photography.

I have combined my life long love of flowers, nature, the beach and sea shells with photography to develop the style and subject matter you see in my work. I love to capture small nuances in nature and simple things in life that can be over looked…soft petals of a flower, curl of a shell, curve of a dune fence and much more.

Born and raised in Montgomery County, PA I moved to Bucks County in 1991. I was a teacher, mom, girl scout leader, PTA member, softball mom, horse show mom, special needs mom and CEO of the Krusen Family before turning full time to photography. I am primarily a self taught art photographer but have taken classes at the local community college and through Nikon. I enjoy sharing my work through art shows and festivals in the Pennsylvania, New Jersey and Delaware area.
